IMS Strategic Internet Marketing Services announced today the finalization and launch of a web site supporting a new Local Listing Management Serviceoffering. The site is focused on the broad set of Local Listing Management services offered by IMS which includes Google Places, Yahoo!, Bing Local, and other directories and is located at www.LocalListingManagementService.com, or directly from the IMS home page.
A second site is scheduled to launch in September with content weighted specifically toward Google Places. That site will be focused more on making available easy-to-understand information and videos. Current plans call for free information to business owners including step-by-step instructions on how to place your business in Mobile and Local Listings in Google.
“I was inspired by the experiences of business owners I know who were being charged anywhere from $50 to $250 per month for having been originally set up in one or more directories,” Said IMS President Tom Anthony. “Since there was no service performed for them monthly they were simply being ripped off. Fellow business owners are being taken advantage of because they either do not know the various local listing services are basically free, or their Internet Marketing vendor promised monthly updates that are not being made. It’s a crime,” Anthony said.
The IMS Local Listing Management Service starts with a onetime set up which establishes the updated and correct baseline information business owners wish to present to customers and prospects.
